Chasing Colors

March 11, 2015

By the time you're reading this, I'll probably be asleep or watching a movie on a plane to somewhere magical. Actually, I'm going to be spending 10 days in Italy -- and ever since I booked the trip, I haven't gotten much sleep. In my past travels, I've been lucky enough to have come across some colorful places. 2 summers ago, I took a trip to San Juan, Puerto Rico on a wimp for a dose of colorful European feel right here at home in the United States.

My addiction for chasing colors did stop there, in fact, it led me to French Quarter, New Orleans. After coming home from NOLA, I knew I had to venture more to find these urban rainbows.

While most people I know opted for a trip to Cancun for Spring Break, and while I wish I was there partying my butt off, too (since it is my final year of college) -- I could not turn this trip down when roundtrip flights to Milan were beyond an incredible deal. It's funny that for such a "black and white" person, I'm quite attracted to colorful places. Originally I was looking to visit Marrakech and Barcelona, two more colorful places that I hope to cross off my list sometimes soon in the future.

At the moment I'm not sure how often I will blog -- but feel free to follow me on Instagram (@forevervanny) for quick snaps of my daily doings in Italy.
