Versatile

As someone who is obsessed with oversized things - I’ll admit, bell sleeves were a bit intimidating for me. They seemed too flowy and girly - much too uncommon for my usual stiffness when it comes to oversizing. It definitely helped that this top was black because it’ll go with the dark denim in my closet for dress down-but-up days.

Before making any purchases, even if it’s a small one - I always try to envision at least 3 looks that I can create with that one piece among the rest of the clothes in my wardrobe. I truly believe that there’s true power that lies in a wardrobe that’s versatile. I love being able to dress things up and down without having to completely turn my wardrobe inside out. Having an adaptable closet really helps you gain a sense of style because you’ll always be able to incorporate new trends into your staples without losing a sense of your core.

If I could have a signature look, it would most likely include white jeans/pants. It doesn’t matter the weather, season or time of the year, you’ll find me in white bottoms at least once a week. There’s something about how fresh and clean it makes me feel and that’s why anything that I can wear with these trusty four-years-old-pair of white crop skinnies and my favorite ankle boots are worth testing water for, even if it’s something too girly for my own good.
