The best way to keep them looking box fresh is by cleaning them regularly. Go over your shoes with a bristle brush to remove any loose dirt or debris, especially if there are any suede parts to your shoe. You may also want to take a damp cloth to the smooth leather areas. If you have some stubborn stains, you can also mix a little mild soap and water and dip your brush in this to gently rub out the stain.
Make sure to take your bristled brush to the soles of your shoe as well to lift off any dirt and a damp cloth to clean it away. Remove the laces and soak them in a mix of mild soap and water, then scrub together and allow to air dry.
You can apply leather conditioner to the smooth leather parts if you want to keep it hydrated and prevent cracks. As your shoes dry, consider rolling up pieces of paper to insert into the shoe to help keep its form and absorb some of the excess water.
