Unbuttoned

Slowly, but surely, I'm slipping into that dress over pants trend --except, I'm not ready 100% committed yet.

It seems as if it's been forever that the weather has been somewhat bearable in New York. It was 64 the other day, and although it was raining, it felt like it was summer. I was a little sad my new friend got wet in the rain on the first day I took it out -- but I'm happy to report he's still looking mighty fine (talking about my Fendi bag bug btw haha).

I found this plaid dress laying in the rack at Zara and didn't think much of it except for the fact that the material felt great. I don't generally wear dresses often, but I am a huge fan of shirt dresses. When I saw this little number, I knew I had to try it on.
I love the slits on the sides, how well it flows and the fact that it unbuttons all the way.

I can also imagine wearing this with a simple black dress inside in the summer with basically the same shoes and bag.
