I picked up this mixed-print midi dress from Free People about a week or two ago and have found myself gravitating to it several times lately. This dress just goes effortlessly with sneakers like my Veja Campos. You might have seen me talk about it on my Instagram already, but I wanted to finally document it on this blog because you guys know well that I have a thing for contrast panels fabrics and mixed-prints (here's an oldie Rixo dress that I also love).
I say this every single summer but, by July, I'm already over summer fashion and quickly thinking about what I would want to wear for fall. Asides from throwing on a pair of shorts and a tank top, I feel like my style is the blandest during these seemingly long three months of scorching hot weather. Anyway, something that always helps me justify these kinds of dresses is being able to transition them once the temperature drops. I can see this dress, in particular, looking really nice with a leather jacket and ankle boots, or layered over a knitted turtleneck too.
